The 40th annual North Shore Jazz Festival is Saturday, January 21st and the GBSIL needs your help. This is a HUGE fundraiser for all the band programs at GBS. We are proud to keep the tradition going in 2017 and will have another great professional headliner performing at 6:00pm as well as a lunchtime performer. Both performances are free with admission.
With over 70 high school and middle school jazz bands expected to perform, the jazz fest will need volunteers to fill positions in the jazz food court, tee shirt sales, security, ticket sales and other venues. We are also asking for your generous donation of food and beverages to keep costs down. Please sign up and be a part of a great day and support your bandie and all the wonderful resources GBSIL provides to the entire band program here at GBS. It is what sets us apart from all other programs.
Our sign up for volunteers and family donations will be posted as we get closer to our big event so please be sure to check back in January!
Many thanks for all your support throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you at the 2017 Jazz Festival on January 21st.
